Nuummite is a rare metamorphic rock that consists of the amphibole minerals gedrite and anthophyllite. It is said to be the oldest mineral on the earth, formed due to volcanic eruptions over three billion years ago! It has a hardness of 5.5-6 on the Mohs scale.
