Every treatment is custom tailored to the individual, and is dependent on the pre-treatment assessment, as well as what the client already senses is out of balance or in need of attention.

BAREFOOT SHIATSU is a form of acupressure that helps restore balance to the body as well as unlocking physical knots and tension. In this method of shiatsu, the client lies on a mat on the floor. Foot and knee pressure is applied by the practitioner rather than hand pressure. The result is a deep release of tension.

Like acupuncture, it works to restore flow to the meridians(invisible energy lines) of the body. Shiatsu is a full body treatment that works along the whole of the back, realigning the spine and the energetic pathways that connect to the whole body, including the internal organs.  The meridians of the arms, legs, shoulders, hands and feet are also worked on, with a focus on any parts that may require extra attention due to pain or blockages. There is also stretching applied. Pressure can be light or very deep and is adjusted according to the individual’s comfort level.

MAGNET THERAPY is the use of small magnets placed along acupuncture meridians and points to help diminish pain and release blocked energy in the body. Effective for muscular aches and pain or  for general return to health and feeling good.  It can help accelerate healing.

AURICULOTHERAPY (aka. Needle-free Ear Acupuncture) stimulation of specific points on the auricle (external ear) help to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body (similar in concept to reflexology).

It has been known to effectively treat conditions such as:

• Muscleoskeletal pain, ie., sports injuries, arthritis, minor muscular aches and pains, back pain, headaches
• Addictions, ie., smoking cessation, alcoholism, drug addictions
• Anxiety and other psychological disorders
• Weight Loss and detoxification
• Re-balancing the body and emotions

In Auriculotherapy there is an orderly anatomical arrangement of points representative of the whole body, similar to a hologram. This means that cells or nerves in a part of the body such as the ear, contain not just information relating to itself but to the body as a whole.  Therefore, when a point is stimulated in the auricle that represents, for example, your leg, this enervates that body part. The stimulation of this point allows the proper flow of energy to the area, similar to Chinese acupuncture. Small silver or gold beads are attached at these points and worn for approximately one week.
