Fluorite

Fluorite is calcium fluoride.  The name, fluorite, comes from the Latin fluere, "to flow," a reference to it’s use as a flux in smelting metallic ores.  It fluoresces under UV influence, and is actually responsible for scientists naming such phenomenon "fluorescence."  Fluorite is a great stone to find stability, and experience spiritual wholeness.  It taps you into universal consciousness, and supports intuition.  Fluorite can help you access your height of mental achievement.  It amplifies, focuses, expands, and creates new pathways for the mind.  Use this stone when meditating, to get past the "mental chatter", and perform auric cleansing.  It absorbs negative energies, and dissolves mental blocks.  Fluorite discourages chaos, and accentuates reality and truth.  It strengthens relationships , and so is a great stone to use in groups. 

Fluorite physically strengthens your bones, teeth, and muscles.  Use it when you have a  toothache.  Fluorite helps you fight colds, flu, staph & strep, cankers, herpes, ulcers, and tumors.  It can be used to repair RNA & DNA damage.

Different colors of Fluorite correspond to different chakras, but generally Fluorite is best used with the brow chakra.

Clear Fluorite- energizes the aura, and facilitates accordance between intellect & spirit.  Clear fluorite helps you be aware of universal energies.  It has the ability to transmit energy from other stones.  Clear fluorite stimulates spiritual evolution, especially when used on the brown or crown chakra. Physically, it is helpful for strengthening eyes, bones, and teeth.

Green Fluorite-renews the chakras, and absorbs excess energy.  It is helpful when cleansing and tidying, and is used to eliminate the negativity in any room.  Green fluorite stimulates self-love, and strengthens intuition.  Physically, it soothes the intestines, heartburn, colitis, and the stomach.  It strengthens teeth and bones.  Use green fluorite with the brow and heart chakras.

Yellow Fluorite-enhances creativity, gives intellectual support, and is great for stimulating group energy.  It facilitates cooperation, and love.  Physically, it’s used in cases of unbalanced cholesterol, liver problems, and when dealing with the release of toxins from fatty deposits.  Yellow fluorite is associated with the solar plexus chakra and the brown chakra.
