Blue Kyanite

Kyanite is an Aluminum Silicate.  It is a polymorph with two other minerals; andalusite and sillimanite. A polymorph is a mineral that shares the same chemistry but a different crystal structure with an other mineral(s). It has a near sapphire like blue color in especially nice specimens. Kyanite has a unique characteristic in that it has a wide variation in hardness in the same crystal.  Kyanite is one of the few crystals which never holds negativity, thus does not need to be cleansed.  It aligns all the chakras, and when used consciously it can OPEN all chakras.  Kyanite transmits & amplifies high-frequency energies, and is great for use while meditating, or receiving attunements.  It heightens honesty, reasoning and loyalty.  Kyanite increases psychic awareness, intuition, dream recall, and is great for public speakers, and performers, or anyone who desires powerful communication skills.  Kyanite encourages you to speak the truth.  Use kyanite to stay on top of projects, or to stimulate the continuation of them.  Blue kyanite balances yin and yang.  It is used to achieve altered states of consciousness, and can enhance channeling.

Physically, kyanite aids the throat, voice, muscles, urogenital system, adrenals, parathyroid, and the brain.

Blue kyanite is associated with the throat chakra, and brow chakra, though can be consciously used to open and align all chakras.
