Black Kyanite

Kyanite is an Aluminum Silicate.  It is a polymorph with two other minerals; andalusite and sillimanite. A polymorph is a mineral that shares the same chemistry but a different crystal structure with an other mineral(s).  Kyanite has a unique characteristic in that it has a wide variation in hardness in the same crystal.  Kyanite is one of the few crystals which never holds negativity, thus does not need to be cleansed.  It aligns all the chakras, and when used consciously it can OPEN all chakras.  Black kyanite is very grounding, and is a good stone to use after energy healing sessions.  It aligns the auric layers, and both transmits and amplifies high-frequency energies.  Kyanite is great for use while meditating or receiving attunements.  Use it to heighten intuition, and aid dream recall.  It balances yin and yang, and restores qi.  Black kyanite is a great crystal for visualizations, channeling, and achieving altered states.  It encourages loyalty, psychic awareness, and honesty.  It calms anger, and benefits lineal reasoning.  Use it to stay on track with the continuation of your projects.  Black kyanite is a very protective stone.

Physically, black kyanite is beneficial to the voice, muscles, urogenital system, adrenals, parathyroid, and the brain.
